Lockett Agri-Environmental is well placed to help farmers and land-managers access funding through the Scottish Rural Development Programme (SRDP) including agri-environment schemes, woodland schemes and grant funding for advisory support.
Lockett Agri-Environmental is a member of the Scottish Farming and Wildlife Advisers’ Group (ScotFWAG). ScotFWAG is a professional association which promotes high quality farm conservation advice and collaborative working.
Richard has 20 years of experience in conservation advisory work and agricultural policy. He worked for 10 years as a Farm Conservation Adviser for Perthshire FWAG before establishing Lockett Agri-Environmental in 2009.
Richard also runs a farming operation at Knockbain Farm near Dingwall. As well as running a small herd of Luing cattle, the farm is also working on a wide range of conservation and diversification projects.
Richard is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecologists and Environmental Managers (MCIEEM) and registered as a Chartered Environmentalist with the Society for the Environment. (CEnv).
